I would love any feedback you have about my blog design. I am planning a re-do in January, but not sure what to focus on. Thanks for any input thehomesteadinghippy.com/

Hey! I'm pretty new at web design and such but I do have a few opinions I'll share! I think that its really important to have a way for readers and potential clients to contact you via email and social media. So, my number one recommendation would be to add some buttons so people can easily contact you! Also, (this is solely my opinion) but your sidebar seems to be a bit big but it may be that I'm on my small laptop and things tend to get scrunched up on the screen. Other than that I love your site! Keep up the good work. -Lara

First, you have some ads going crazy in your sidebar, one is way outside your sidebar just chilling. So I'd make sure those guys are all corralled and organized. Also your sidebar links and social icons are kinda hard to read. They blend in easily with the background blue.
I like your menu but not when it comes to the submenu items, they blend in with the other content. They should keep the styling of the main menu items.
The header image is slightly blurry on my screen when it comes to the text, so I'd work on getting that sharpened up and more polished. On mobile your header image is really pixelated looking, the background is doing this weird almost wave like texture which might be because my phone has an HD screen I'm not sure, but it just looks weird, and the image isn't responsive so most of it gets cut off on my phone's screen. The menu font is also very small on mobile. I can read it but I'm thinking not everyone might be able to. It's smaller than even the paragraph text on your posts in mobile.
Other than that I think you are in a good spot and with only a few modifications could really make a difference.
