theimp, I would say totally lifestyle/parenting. I know you aren't giving parenting advice, but I also have a similar theme with just sharing what I am going through being a wife and mom to two young girls. So, figure others out there might relate or sympathize and get that feel from your blog, as well. In that end, I consider myself a lifestyle/parenting blog for the most part, too

jnine0712 Thank you, yes I am looking at finding more balance. It's one of my major goals. Other than that what do you think of my site? Any advice or feedback would be awesome. Also, would you say I'm nichless at this point?

Debbie @ Heartbeats Soul Stain - Your site overall looks pretty good to me. I am a designer though by nature though and my eye looks at the overall theme and how it is setup. I would say possibly clean up the menu bar trying to keep it to one line. In the sidebar if you can, try to align the gadgets (possibly centering them if they aren't). I just am very much all about clean lines and being able to see clearly what I am looking at on a blog. @ticklestandtots - Again overall your blog looks good. The one thing I noticed when looking at a few of your posts is that they are short and to the point, but you may want to try to add a bit more substance to your actual text copy and possibly enlarge your photos when sharing about a place you visited. I know when I visit a blog and read about an actual trip of sorts, I like seeing large visual images. That said you definitely have a lot to offer and if you did make a few slight changes do think this want make a big difference.

My blog doesn't really fit into a niche. But I would love it if someone could take a look and give me some advice on how to make it look a little better. heidiswanderings.blogspot.com/

@heidi - Not sure if you are looking to change the theme, header or just tinker a bit with sidebars and menu bars to be honest. An easy and quick change that I would possibly start with is moving social buttons and subscribe gadget higher to the top of your blog page. For me I like the ways to follow a blogger to be front and center. I understand having an ad be above the fold for maximum money making, but right below the ad, I just ultimately feel that the ways to follow should come next. Just my opinion, but when I design blogs I usually try to keep that towards the top of the page if possible. If you are indeed looking for a redesign could also help with that and actually run my own design company. But like I said even the subtle quick changes can make a world of difference in looks and appearance, as well as gaining new readers/subscribers.

I've made some changes regarding your input. Could you take a quick look and see if my menu and sidebar is less confusing. Also, why do you think I'm not getting any Google love. My site is over a year old. Thanks so much, Sue Chody www.bowwowblog.com

suebird - Definitely an improvement. Right away as a pet owner and lover of shopping, too I do love the concept of your site with saving while be able to shop for your pet. As for Google love, are you talking about Google Page Rank, Google Analytics, or subscribers to your page? Just trying to figure out which you are trying to improve upon with giving advice. I can say if it is subscribers and those that will come to read, I would make sure to make the subscribe and ways to follow, possibly a bit larger on the top of the page or even top of your sidebar. And in any new post, try to make sure to include ways for readers to subscribe to return, which in effect will increase page views and show on Google Analytics. As for Google Page Rank, I know this can definitely take more time and patience and Google is pretty harsh on upping your page rank if you don't No Follow links with sponsored posts and such. Hope that helps a bit and I know it can be frustrating having great content and not getting as much views as you would like from Google.

Honestly, lashonda your blog title confuses me a bit. I don't know if 'fabulous' is an item of it's own, or if it's supposed to be 'you're' as in 'you are'.
