My blog design is boring. I love my layout but I'd love a gorgeous navigation bar and header, for instance. The blogs I contribute on have really beautiful headers but they paid someone to do it. Can anyone possibly link me to a decent tutorial that can get me a similar effect without having to purchase the services? I'm pretty decent with HTML, especially with the proper tutorial, but I really don't know much about creating my own WordPress design.

To create a header, I'd recommend PicMonkey.com - or hire someone from Fiverr.com. It's only $5.

I can help if you're interested - I'd love to exchange a header design for a guest post. You can email me at cluelessmomma@gmail.com

Wow, fantastic responses!! Sorry for the delay, I'm still not great at keeping up with my own blog (and the networking that comes with). I'll get there. I'd love some help, that would be wonderful!! I changed mine up a little bit so far, using PicMonkey, but I'm still not thrilled with it quite yet.
