I am looking for any and all advice I can get for starting a blog. I have yet to start one, but am looking to within the next month or two. I have been doing a ton of research on blogging. Finding tons of sites and pages through Google and Pintrest but at a loss as to where to start. I have so many likes and interests I am not sure what exactly to do with all the information and what direction I should take my blog-to-be. Thats where I am stuck. I wanted to focus on women over 40 but was told that was too vague and needed to pinpoint an area. To find a problem women have and solve it.
Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

This is a very brief TLDR version on how to start a blog...
1. Figure out what you want to blog about and what your blogging goals are (do you want to do it for fun? to meet people? to help people? for profit? etc) 2. Decided what blogging platform you want to use (I recommend WordPress self-hosted, that will cost you money for a domain name & hosting, if you want to go free try wordpress.com the free plan). 3. Brand your blog - decide how you want everything to look, create graphics, decide on a tone that will cover your entire blog persona from your social media accounts to your blog posts. 4. Set up social media accounts, which ones may vary based on your audience. Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest are always good choices. 5. Start. Just start writing. You will continue to learn as you go, but the important thing is to get in there and start going.
