I've tried both starting blog hops and challenges and I've waited around to be asked. I'm nearly never asked and everyone is too busy when I ask. Should I ask more frequently? What are other ways of connecting with like bloggers? A lot of the bloggers I respect, enjoy, and want to collaborate with are already part of their own tribe. I'm part of 1 Facebook group. I work full time out of the home and I'm a mom so I find myself never on face book in the first place.

A lot of Tribes are on Facebook and it's understandable if you're not on it, but it's about the fastest way people are communicating through groups. I'm in a couple "tribes" there... some more business oriented and others, a hodge podge of sites.

It is so worth joining some Facebook groups. If you have blogs and bloggers you really like, you might want to ask them if they are in Facebook groups you can join. You will find out about round ups, great blogging articles, and can ask questions.

Facebook groups are definitely the easiest way for me to connect and communicate. I find it much easier and more efficient than navigating forums. The problem I've encountered is I search and search for a tribe I feel like I want to be a part of, and then I join, and not too long after, the group fizzles out. It takes work to maintain a group even if everyone has the best intentions!
Have you tried contacting other favorite bloggers in your niche and asking to join their tribe? Or participating in a link-up that someone else is doing?
I know it's not easy and it takes time! Best of luck!
Maybe there'll be a few new tribes formed out of this forum & experience! I haven't had much time yet to explore the rest of the forum, but I plan to!
