Hi! I started my blog for parents and educators as a little hobby but I'm ready to take it to the next level. I'm hoping to switch from blogger to WordPress next month. I would love any feedback! Thanks so much for taking the time to help me. Leigh Ann www.yourteacherslounge.com

Hi Leigh! I'm a huge fan of Wordpress and I think you will be really happy with the switch from Blogger. You'll be able to customize your page even more. And you are smart to do it now, after only few months of blogging.
You have a really clean and professional looking design. Your menu is clear, and I like your quick and easy links on the Literacy page. Since there's nothing in Math or Science, you might want to add a line that says "coming soon..."
I just left a comment - easy to do, and no captcha, so that's great!
Some suggestions: Include your "how it began" story on your About page, so readers don't have to click again to see your story. The popular posts are really skinny - it's odd formatting. Not sure how you can change that; you may have more flexibility on Word Press. You could also make a menu tab for Popular Posts. Get read of the Feedburner feed count and total pageviews. Unnecessary and uses valuable real estate. Put your About Me at the top of your sidebar, right below your social media buttons. Readers want to connect with you right away! Add a tagline under your blog title. Your Teacher's Lounge could be anything - a tagline will give a clue as to what your focus is. This is personal preference, but script writing is more difficult to read than print. I'd suggest changing your post titles to a bolder, simpler font.
You have some great content, Leigh - I wish you much success with your blog!

Danakml, Thank you so much for the feedback! That was more helpful than you know. Thanks for taking the time to critique it. I very easily get tunnel-visioned and this was really appreciated!
