Hello all! I would love get some feedback on my blog design and whether or not I need to add/remove anything. I was trying for a pretty simple and streamlined look with the overall design. methodicalliving.blogspot.comI appreciate any feedback that you have to offer! Thank you so much in advance!

Hello! I just checked out your blog Here are a few things I noticed! 1. Move your About Me blurb in your side bar up, up, up! I want to know the person behind the blog I am about to read... not what ad Google or whoever wants me to see. 2. The purple is pretty, but that yellow is VERY difficult to read and hard on the eyes. I suggest trying another color. Perhaps a pastel pink? Or a more toned down purple to compliment instead. 3. I love your Make It. Organize It, etc concept. Very charming. 4. It's great that you have social media icons, but you haven't made it easy (or really even possible) for your readers to share your content. Check out my post about this here: www.kimiwho.com/2014/11/biggest-secret-increasing-social-shares/

First thing that strikes me is that your font for your content is small, this makes it hard to read. I'd make your font a little bigger. Also on your menu the yellow is very hard to read over the grey. The yellow on the hover of links is also impossible to read on the white. The yellow is really tough, it just is making things really hard to read or look at. I'd reconsider that color option.
You also have a lot of fonts going on with 2 in your logo and 3 others in the rest of your site. 3 is usually the most number of fonts you want to use on a site so I'd switch out your menu and header/h tag font for one of the fonts in your logo to help unify the two.
I'd also move your newsletter from the bottom (or add another signup to the sidebar), and move your about me above your sidebar ad.
The text in your header image is a little blurry, if you could sharpen it up that would be great.
On mobile it looks good, except for the yellow home link which is hard to read on the grey.
Overall you are off to a good start and a few more changes would really enhance the user experience.

Thank everyone for your awesome insights. I really appreciate it. I have made my fonts larger and tried to change some of the other fonts to the same thing. I will continue to work on all of these tips. -Lara
